PRIVACY POLICY

Last Bell Studio is designed to keep ordinary classroom use simple. The site does not require user accounts, and the classroom apps do not use a Last Bell Studio cloud database for teacher-created classroom data.

Local browser storage

Some apps use your browser's local storage or session storage to remember settings, tutorial status, game progress, scores, presets, or classroom information. This data stays in that browser unless you choose to export a backup file.

Student names and rosters

The Pair & Group Generator can store classroom rosters locally in your browser. Last Bell Studio does not provide cloud synchronization for these rosters. When possible, use minimal classroom identifiers such as first names, initials, English names, or student numbers rather than unnecessary full legal names.

If you export a roster backup, that downloaded file may contain student names. Store and share it according to your school or organization's policies.

Files selected in Flashcard Maker

Files selected in Flashcard Maker are processed in your browser and are not intentionally uploaded to Last Bell Studio. Generated files are downloaded to your device.

Third-party services

Last Bell Studio is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process normal web-request information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and security signals as part of delivering and protecting the site.

Some legacy app media that has not yet been moved into the site may be delivered by Cloudinary. The site may also load fonts from Google Fonts and software libraries from cdnjs. Tutorial videos are provided by YouTube, but Last Bell Studio uses a click-to-load design so the YouTube player is not loaded until you choose to watch a video. The Classroom Timer can also connect to YouTube when you intentionally add a YouTube link for optional background music.

Cookies and analytics

At launch, Last Bell Studio does not install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar first-party marketing trackers. The apps use browser storage where needed for their features. Third-party services may use their own storage or processing when they are loaded.

Advertising

Last Bell Studio may add advertising to public discovery or app-detail pages in the future. The launched classroom app interfaces are intended to remain clean. If advertising or analytics changes the site's data practices, this policy will be updated and any required consent controls will be added.

Deleting local data

You can remove locally stored app data by using an app's reset/clear options where available or by clearing site data in your browser. Downloaded backup files must be deleted separately from your device.
