YOUR NEXT CLASS STARTS HERE

Less setup. More time with your students.

Last Bell Studio is a collection of free classroom games, teaching tools and early-English activities built by a classroom teacher. It is designed for the moments when you need the class working together: starting a speaking task, making groups, reviewing vocabulary or giving everyone a clear time limit.

The tools suit teacher-led ESL and EFL lessons as well as everyday classroom routines. Open a collection above, read an app’s guide and launch it in your browser. There is no required classroom account or student sign-up. Projector-first layouts keep the shared activity at the centre of the lesson.

Give students something to discuss

The Games collection turns speaking into a shared decision. In State of Affairs, students run a government, debate a crisis and follow the consequences. In Midnight at School, a story gives the class a reason to predict, disagree and explain.

Keep classroom routines moving

The Teacher Tools collection handles timing, grouping, scoring and random choices. Try Classroom Timer for a visible countdown with optional background music, or Pair & Group Generator when a new activity needs different partners.

Build the foundations

The Phonics collection supports vocabulary, decoding and syllable practice. Elementary Starter introduces words through pictures. Syllable Split lets students try whole words before revealing their parts, then practise the same set on a worksheet.

Preview before the bell

Use Tutorial Mode where offered to learn controls inside the app. Public app pages also explain the activity and provide walkthroughs. Choose one learning goal, prepare a short model answer and check your projector and sound before students arrive.

Do students need their own devices?

Not for teacher-led whole-class use. One teacher-controlled screen can present the activity while students speak, work with a partner or respond on paper. A laptop or desktop with a projector is the intended classroom setup.

What happens to classroom information?

Apps that remember settings or class information use local browser storage rather than a Last Bell Studio classroom account. Avoid unnecessary student details and keep exported backups safe. The Privacy page explains storage and optional third-party services.

Are the classroom apps free?

Yes. You can use the games and tools without contributing. Optional support helps sustain the project; it does not unlock classroom features. Active classroom interfaces remain free of advertising.
